At Britannia Cues, we proudly present a select range of the finest hand-crafted Snooker and British Pool cues, each created with precision, passion, and tradition. Every cue is made from air-seasoned, straight-grained Ash which is carefully selected for its superior strength, balance, and responsiveness.
Our skilled workshops hand-splice each cue using an exquisite selection of sustainably sourced exotic timbers, chosen for their natural beauty and distinctive character. Every Britannia cue is adorned with our engraved, black-enamelled Mother of Pearl Britannia disc which is a hallmark of authenticity, quality, and enduring value.
Each cue is meticulously honed to perfection, ensuring optimal performance and feel for every player. The Britannia collection is divided into distinct ranges, offering cues to suit all abilities and representing exceptional value across every price point.
Britannia Cues was founded in the 1970s, before the great surge in Snooker’s popularity throughout the 1980s. Each cue was handcrafted with pride in Birmingham, England, within a small, family-run workshop dedicated to quality and precision.
In the 1990s, following a short hiatus, the Britannia brand was revitalised under new leadership. The new Director brought with him a wealth of experience gained from years of selling and crafting cues for renowned premium brands such as AEON of Coventry, Hunt & O’Byrne, and Riley’s, among others.
His extensive expertise, combined with a commitment to craftsmanship and innovation, shaped the Britannia Cue ranges we proudly produce today. Cues that embody tradition, precision, and performance.
Every Britannia cue represents:
Today, Britannia Cues of England offers distinct ranges, each uniquely designed to suit different playing disciplines, budgets, and preferences:
As demand for Britannia Cues continues to grow, we’ve evolved our operations to meet this increased interest, without compromising the care and craftsmanship that define our brand.
Our specialist workshops have expanded in both size and skilled personnel, allowing us to produce more cues while ensuring every single one still receives the same meticulous attention, precision, and dedication to quality.
Sustainability has also become a core focus of our development. We’ve taken steps to replace the traditional heavy plastic resin mini butt with a weighted aluminium version across all our cues as a move that helps reduce environmental impact while enhancing product performance.
But our commitment doesn’t stop there. We’re actively sourcing sustainable and visually striking alternatives to some of our traditional exotic woods. One of these materials, Diamond Wood, now features prominently in our Traditional Range. With its deep, dark tone and subtle metallic silver grain, it provides both beauty and responsibility in design.
These are just a few of the innovations being introduced under the guidance of our new Directors, as Britannia Cues continues to evolve, blending heritage craftsmanship with forward-thinking sustainability and modern production excellence.
We’re sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. How can we do better in future?
