The opening fixture saw LSP A maintain their perfect start to the season with a convincing 27-8 victory over Dishers Ladies. The result keeps LSP A’s 100% record intact after four weeks, while Dishers Ladies remain rooted to the foot of the table as they continue their search for their first victory of the campaign.

One of the closest contests of the week came from the 45 Club, they edged out Dishers Men18-15 in a thrilling encounter. With the match finely balanced heading into the final doubles, Neil Raybone and Andy Blurton held their nerve to win the decisive last pairing, securing a hard-fought victory for the hosts.

Players produced one of the performances of the week as they swept aside LSP B with an emphatic 34-8 win. Leading the way once again was UP Pro Liam White, whose latest outstanding contribution sees him extend his advantage at the top of the individual points table. White continues to set the standard with another dominant display as Players strengthened their position in the league.

The biggest statement result of the week came from Lambourne, who recorded a superb 34-12 victory over pre-season bookmakers’ favourites Plaza. The standout performance came from UP Pro Rob Wharne, who delivered a flawless 8-0 win over Rob Adams in a crucial singles match, helping lay the foundations for an impressive team victory that will certainly make the rest of the league take notice.
